Description

In this evolved world, two new currencies have become ultra-valuable in the lives of almost everyone: Health and Happiness. For the last decade, Common Good has fought to bring more of both to the world — by growing brands that are on this same mission. Right now, we’re searching for a fiercely talented Designer to help us accelerate the climb for the national brands we serve.

Common Good is seeking a highly creative and collaborative Designer to join our dynamic team of hard workers, bold makers, outdoor-shredders and culture-makers. As a Designer, you’ll collaborate with our team to develop visually compelling and engaging designs that effectively communicate our mission-driven clients’ brands to their audiences nationwide.

Who’s our ideal candidate? You’re not just a designer, you can think and work conceptually to combine those two passions. You’re confident when designing and presenting work, yet humble enough to take direction when it’s necessary. You were born with a sensibility for type, proportion, composition and visual precision. You have a keen eye for details and aesthetics — and know how to hone those superpowers to create work that showcases your strong conceptual and visual thinking abilities.

As an agency that works across every medium, you’ll be participating in all aspects of our integrated output: campaign concepting, digital ideation, traditional design assignments, and even some fun non-traditional projects. You’ll be responsible for creating various marketing materials, such as: digital assets, print collateral, packaging, website layouts and whatever else our clients dream up for us to create…

You’ll be guided and inspired by the Design Director and Creative Director, but you’ll be expected to make everything your own, as well as produce your very best work on a daily basis. We’re a company of unique individuals who work as a tight-knit team. Everyone is equally important in making us and — in turn, our clients — well-oiled machines. Join the Health & Happiness Agency and play a pivotal role in creating impactful and visually stunning campaigns for our mission-driven clients.

You’ll do:
• Design and create visually appealing marketing materials that align with clients' brand identities, marketing objectives and target audiences
• Collaborate closely with our internal and external team members to develop stunning and unique designs that seamlessly align with our clients' brand objectives
• Ensure consistency and brand integrity across all design deliverables, maintaining a high standard of quality and craftsmanship
• Stay updated with design trends, tools and techniques to ensure the agency's work remains innovative and cutting-edge
• Ensure all designs meet brand guidelines, industry standards and legal requirements, such as copyright and licensing
• Maintain an organized and easily accessible digital library of design assets, including logos, fonts, images and templates
• Keep all of the balls successfully in the air across multiple clients and timelines, demonstrating strong organizational capabilities

You’ll have:•
• 3-4+ years of design experience in an advertising or design agency setting
• A passion for creativity, innovation and a commitment to delivering outstanding design solutions
• An exceptional portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, demonstrating proficiency in layout, typography, color theory and composition
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas and receive feedback effectively
• Solid understanding of digital and print design principles, best practices and file formats
• Proven success of best practices in the digital space and ideally activations (and have the work to show for it)
• A working and proficient knowledge of all industry-related programs across the Adobe Suite
• A fiery and creative collaborative spirit, with strong confidence in your creative chops
• A sense of humor and a laid-back, roll-with-the-punches attitude is a need — be ready to work hard (but don’t worry, we consider ourselves champions of work/life balance) with likable people and clients in an energetic company blazing forward
