In addition to acting, directing cult-classic films like Garden State and starring in Broadway musicals, Zach Braff’s talent extends to the realm of branded entertainment. He teased his latest work – a quirky comedic short film for Adobe he wrote and directed – on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” last night. In The Time It Takes To Get There premiered this morning and stars Alicia Silverstone, Florence Pugh, “The Office’s” Leslie David Baker and the indisputable star of Netflix’s FYRE documentary, Andy King. It’s produced by Ridley Scott’s RSA Films and was filmed by Academy Award-winning cinematographer Mauro Fiore.  In The Time It Takes To Get There  is a look at a day in the life of the first social media influencer.

The genesis of the short is a collaboration with Adobe Creative Cloud and creative ad agency Pereira O’Dell, which launched the campaign with a nationwide competition in 2018 for college students to create a movie poster for a film. The winning #MoviePosterMovie poster, created by Boston University student Sam West, inspired Braff’s short film.
