HR software company BambooHR acknowledges how crucial and increasingly difficult the role of the HR professional has become over the past two years. From the great resignation to shifting return to work policies, HR professionals have had to endure unprecedented hardships in their roles. That’s why this week, leading up to International HR Day (May 20th), BambooHR is setting out to return the care to the very people who provide it to others in the workplace daily.

Created in partnership with its media agency, NY based independent shop, Noble People, BambooHR is taking to social media with a campaign called HR Wellness Week. Four corporate influencers will post across TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram to rally around HR professionals and address their health and wellbeing head-on. Influencers include:  HR Manifesto (@HRManifesto), known for her workplace meditations, exit strategies and humorous day to day advice; Jackie Caves (@JackieCaves), a casual storyteller and empowering source for job seekers; Sarah the Corporate Mama (@TheCorporateMama), a favorite among working moms ripe with parenting humor and stress management advice; and DeAndre Brown (@imdrebrown), known as “the corporate baddie,” serving up relatable sketch videos about life in the workplace.

Each day a question will be posed by the influencers to HR professionals on social to gain a better understanding of what wellness at work means to them, and what they need to achieve happiness, energy and positivity in their roles. The questions, which were created based off research and focus groups, will range from where they turn to for support at work, to how they find relaxation, to what music pumps them up at the end of a long week. Each post will encourage responses tagged to #BambooHR to qualify respondents for a selection of gifts of self-care and wellbeing—from Cameo gift cards (humor), to workout app subscriptions (physical health), to a Calm app subscription (mental health) and more.

“For the past two years, HR professionals have faced challenge after challenge and, in many organizations, they hold an outsized responsibility around employee well-being,” said Amy Frampton, head of marketing at BambooHR. “Many have given so much that they’re now facing their own exhaustion and burnout. This campaign is an acknowledgement of these challenges and we are excited to offer even a small amount of support to HR professionals around the world.”
