SS+K, a marketing agency that melds political strategy and creativity to build reputations and advance issues announced that Stevie Archer has been appointed Executive Creative Director. She most recently hails from Big Spaceship in New York. Prior to Big Spaceship, she spent time in North Carolina at McKinney’s flagship office and MullenLowe’s Winston-Salem outpost. She’s created award-winning work for brands including Starbucks, Nationwide Insurance, Travelocity, T.J. Maxx, Sherwin-Williams and Samsung.
“Joining SS+K now is so exciting because we’re living in a time of unprecedented disruption. And tackling the shocking new changes that come at us each morning is actually what gets the thinkers and creators at SS+K out of bed every day. Here, every change is a chance for us to create something great, and to help our clients realize their missions despite the constant social, economic and political upheaval we’re facing,” she said.
Stevie will oversee creative development for SS+K, for clients such as Airbnb, Tourism Australia, Commonwealth Bank, Microsoft, NARAL, NCAA, and Wells Fargo. She will also join with senior creatives from M&C Saatchi partner agencies for marketing solutions for US and global clients. SS+K is known for its memorable work on HBO, Delta, Honest Tea, and Obama (’08 & ’12).
“Stevie is a rising star and has a broad view on how creative work gets done,” said Lenny Stern, Co-founder of SS+K and Co-Chair of M&C Saatchi New York.
