Infographic: Technology, Plagiarism and Cheating

By / / Onlinecollege.org created an infographic to answer the question: Do online students cheat more? The answer, it seems, is yes. Or at least a recent study of of 635 undergrads found that more students admitted to cheating in online classes. That makes sense when coupled with the fact that far fewer cheaters were caught online than in the classroom. The infographic explores other aspects of cheating and online courses, such as the percentage of students who received help from students who already took a test versus being given answers during a test, plagiarism, and different groups’ opinions of online classes. It seems college presidents are the most optimistic. Big surprise.
