Twitter Has a New Logo

I've long wished for Facebook to change their logo to Zuck Dawg diving into a vault of gold coins, scrooge McDuck style, but instead, we have a new logo from Twitter.

Over at Gawker, Caity Weaver does a swell job mocking Twitter's self-important announcement. But really, the new logo is an improvement. It's a better color and a more dynamic bird, in flight, soaring, instead of just sitting there and chirping your ear off about god knows what. Probably mommy blog stuff. Those fucking mommy bloggers love Twitter.

Sorry, I'm still traumatized from when I used to work at Babble.com, and would spend my days pretending to be a 35-year-old woman. Once you tweet the phrase, "I'm really worried about these 15 signs of menopause, are you?!" You can't really take that back. It just stays with you forever.
