Mother announced that Gustavo Sousa, the Creative Director from Brazil has been appointed as a Partner. He has relocated to Mother New York where he continues as the Creative Director leading the Stella Artois brand globally. In addition, he'll be exploring the potential launch of Mother in Brazil in 2014, with hopes of expanding the presence in the region started by Madre in Buenos Aires.
Gustavo joined Mother in 2003 and for the last four years has been the global Creative
Director on Stella Artois. Heʼs worked on the ʻSmooth Originalsʼ Gold Lion winning
campaign for Stella Artois 4% as well as collaborations with Annie Leibovitz, Bert Stern, Robert McGinnis, Wim Wenders, Pablo Ferro, Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola for the Stella Artois main brand. He also worked on the campaigns for Stella Artois Black, ʻThe Night Chauffeurʼ and ʻThe Black Diamondʼ.
We're looking forward to seeing Sousa's work and hope he's acquired decent housing.
