Work Submission: Cole Haan and BBH New York Launch "Subway Stories" Inspired by NYC

Cole Haan has partnered with BBH New York to launch a new campaign emphasizing the brand’s “unique mix of style, craftsmanship and innovation, inspired by the movement, energy and self expression of New York City.”

The first integrated full-scale campaign from the agency, “Subway Stories,” uses subway iconography and street fashion photography to build a new, New York City anchored image for Cole Haan while also bringing in a younger audience. “Subway Stories” is a multimedia campaign encompassing digital, retail, print, OOH, interactive, social media and direct display advertising.

The OOH and display advertising feature the authentic engagement of street photography by Sebastian Kim, targeting consumers in the streets where they live and the Subway cars they ride every day. That's about as New York as the guy singing opera on the S train.
