Matt MacDonald will be joining BBDO as Executive Creative Director on AT&T. MacDonald was most recently co-chief Creative Officer at JWT New York.
Matt MacDonald brings more than 15 years’ experience to his new role, ten of which were spent at JWT, New York and the last 18 months as its co-chief creative officer. MacDonald is behind some of that agency’s most famous work such as “Welcome Bigwigs” for JetBlue, “The Magic of Macy’s” campaign and “Yes, Virginia” animated Christmas special for Macy’s, and the “Nightlife Exchange” project for Diageo. He’s an award-winning copywriter who has won Pencils, Lions, Clios, Effies, Webbys and more, including one of the first-ever Gold Lions in Mobile. His work is also part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). In addition to JetBlue, Macy’s and Diageo, Matt’s broad range of client experience covers Cadbury, De Beers, Ford, J&J, L.L. Bean and Rolex, among other brands.
